SLP airbox lid

This may be a dumb question but SLP only makes the lid for the 5.7L, is it possible that it would fit for the 3.8???? They look almost identical?? im not sure. thanks for the help

I was wondering about the same thing? Do the V-8 airlids work on the 3.8 V-6's? Seems very similar based on some pics. Anyone tried this yet?

with some work i am sure they will fit, but the LS1 intake is right in the middle, ours is offset the the drivers left if you look closely at it..

Yes, it will fit your airbox, but the intake tube will have to be modified for the offset TB. Whisper Motorsports makes a direct lid for the 3.8L V6

Just knock the vanes out of the stock lid and sand it down well. put some puddy in the corners and bevel the oval outlet. The oval is equal to a 3" circle. A little work will save you a couple hundred bucks.
