Just use a flathead on the outside and pop it out? B/c of this MY check engine light is coming on Will this effect the recalibration ( I took off the neg. part on the bat for an hour ) ? One more Q, its about driving in Overdrive or Drive, which one would get more perfomance? Drive is supposed to be more powerful, but will it actually make the car go faster? Thanks for the help!

Don't know about installing the sensor in the SLP, but yeah a basically pulled and pried until the sensor came out. Then in my custom setup I drilled a hole and mounted the stock grommet (sp) and stuck the sensor in it. To reset my computer without killing power to rest of car I pulled the battery backup fuse with the key off and left it out for a minute or two.
Where you at in Indiana. I'm in West Lafayette. White 1996 3800 Camaro.
My SLP kit is on the way, so I can't help there.
Overdrive is really just 4th gear. So if you are just crusin', leave it in O. If you step on, it should automatically downshift out of overdrive. If you are drag racing, it is not likely to ever reach 4th gear before you slowdown anyway.

You must pop off the air inflow sensor off the old intake and put it into the rubber elbow it fits perfectly in there. Sometimes, however, you have to stretch the wires a little more or cut off the hosing. You really shouldn't drive all that much with it off cause you will be gettin the SES light due to the fact that the computer does not know how cold the air coming in is. Hope that makes sense its really early in the morning. Also for pics of the CAI look in my profile.
Also to your D and OD ?
If you are planning on just driving around town going rather quick and you want quicker throttle response over 45 mph (which is where OD kicks in under normal driving) don't use OD, it really doesn't matter all that much I drive around in OD just to save gas cause all the speed limits here are 45mph. Hope that helped.
