Ok I just have the 80 series flowmaster and I dont want a highflow cat but I do want the 3 inch I pipe from the cat to the muffler
the guy at the muffler shop said he can do it all for 60 bucks.
I was wondering if itll throw a code or not?
Any input?
ill take a wild stab. since its after the o2 sensors, you should be fine. if not, there's no reason for it to throw a code. now a highflow cat, thats a 50% chace of getting a code. some do, some don't. if you do get a code, which i doubt, get an o2 sim in there. Hope that helps. let us know how it sounds, that's the most important part :D . btw, i have a SES light, a Check gauges, airbag, abs inop, heck, my gauge cluster looks like a christmas tree but the car runs just fine.

Get the O2 sim if you are afraid of throwing codes :D
that and an off road pipe.......Gonna Gtech it tonight to let ya'll know what the results are... I hope.

why would he not need an o2 sim? would replacing the cat throw a code or not? cause if it would, you'd need the o2 sim...and how much do the o2 sims cost btw? thx.
It won't trow a code as long as he swaps the O2 sensor to the new pipe. bigger pipes don't throw codes. My cat-back is 3" all the way, and it's just fine.
