  • pace setter VS. edelbrock RPM exhaust

has anyone heard or have either of these? ive got an older flowmaster on the car rirght now, but ive got a cut out on it and i always just leave it open because my gas mielage goes down so much when i close it. i was looking to an alternative for the exhaust. does anyone have opinions on either of these? ive got aftermarket headers on it also, so i dunno if that will make a difference?

its all about the size of the pipes. what are you looking for? gas milage, like you mentioned wont change going from one muffler to another. what size pipes are you running with your flowmaster, stock or something else? also, is your car a 38/34?

mines a 3.8. im using the 2.5 inch pipes. im trying to decided wiether or not to leave it and just leave the cut out open, or get a whole new system

i like my edelbrock it has a deeper sound since i put the on headers and supercharger and the rebuilt engine does not get the rasp till it is about the rpm limit, howerver if you are just putting the exhaust on with no other mods it will sound good at idel and up to about 3500 rpm before it gets raspy
