I have one on my stock system, and can't hear a damn thing!

I have a carsound. During the first day of installation, it was very quiet. After three or four days though (about 50 miles) it got louder. Someone told me it was a "burn-in" period. I like the way it sounds now with my dynomax muff
mine sounds great 3'' carsound cat, 3'' catback with a flowmaster.

I got an aftermarket Universal GM 3" cat right b4 I got my exhaust. After I put the exhaust on it sounded hella loud and rumbly. As the weeks progess the exhaust quieted down, but still rumbles, especially if you are behind the car, even 20 ft away. Then a month later it set the SES light off. Last month the shield on the cat came loose, so I replaced it with the CarSound Hi-Flow cat and my rumble kinda went away. My exhaust got quieter too. The interval between the rumble is a lot shorter now and only sometimes is it kinda rumbly. When I go in the parking structures to hear the exhaust echoing, it definitely went away. Its more of a moan now, with some fast throbbing rumble added in. So now it's leaning more towards the v6 sound. On the bright side, the performance went up and the SES light went away 2 days after the install.
