Yes, and a 3" magnaflow cat. I'm not a flowmaster fan.

I would say that you should keep with the Magnaflow.
Since Magnaflow is a Straight-Thru Design, B&B will probably not out-perform it for the extra $300 that it costs.
thanks for the help ime gonna go with magnaflow it sounded really good i can put that $200 towards lsd and 3.42

Here's a heads-up. When you first get the catback on, its going to stink and be loud as all he11. The stink will go away and the sound will mellow out after ~500 miles or so -- down to a tolerable level.
When I first heard my magnaflow pipes, it was so loud under acceleration that I was thinking it wouldn't last a month before I got fed up with it and changed it out. It's sounds great now though.

Agreed. When I had my Magnaflow Cat-Back put on My Sunfire, it was pretty loud and it stunk for about two weeks. Then It quieted down and smelled like normal exhaust. ;)
I'm thinking about the magnaflow cat back for my bird but now am a little concerned about interior noise levels after reading this..is it all that bad or just a little louder than stock..also any comments about the cat back system from borla
my friends camaro has the 2.5 and its loud but not obscene like a flowmaster or a loud-mouth. you will get use to it and start to love it after a short time. and i have heard that it mellows out as well so i say go for it. unless you are going with forced induction later on the 2.5 is awsome.

Magnaflow sounds like crap. Pure rice. High tone, quiet volume. I had a 2.5" back in the day. Ditched it in favor of the 3" Flowmaster and never looked back. Flowmaster is the most popular F-Body exhaust for a reason. ;)
check out my exhaust vid.. engine was cold on that vid. will have a new one up shortly with better sound!
