LOL: another phoenix out there. cool. how did you come up with 64? i picked 99 because my firebird is a '99. ne way what plugs are better with headers and new wires and some coil packs. i broke down and bought some MSD coil packs and some wires,i'll go ahead and do these when i do the headers. Are Bosch's or NGKs better for our car?

For the gaskets I used the paper ones that came with the headers, and soaked them overnight before installing.

Then after you install it, warm them up, let it cool a bit and re-torque it. Do that about four to six times. It's a pain in the ***, but it's been six months and no leaks.

The install was tough, but if you have someone else it will be better (and I was working in the Phi Delt parking lot here). Totally worth it though, finished off the exhaust system.

Yea, just some water will do the trick. If you take the time and do it right it shouldn't leak. I was impatient, and didn't want to wait for new OEM gaskets, and it's worked out fine for me so far.
