My 2001 is part of the entire intake and is "fly by wire" technology. That might be one factor in it not working.

I have a 98 with that stupid angled throttle body and want to put a 99 tb on it. What benefits would I see? and where can I find one? I got the gm part # off the technical database

i would think the 99 and 2000 would be the same (both drive by wire). you should have reset the pcm though after the swap so it would know that it needs to relearn the idle.
