I'm thinking about trying this on my '97. I'll be careful not to break it and if it doesn't help I can always put it back in. My question is after it's removed should I reset the computer by removing the negative end on the battery for 1/2 hour? It seems to me like I should do that after every performance mod so the computer can discover it's added power.

No, the computer will figure it out on it's own. Removing the power resets the computer to the factory pre-set values, which doesn't help.Robert - owner www.FirebirdV6.com/CamaroV6.com
