  • Question on Pace Setter headers

Hey guys - I am getting the flowmaster exhaust put on today and getting pace setter headers next for it and found this site http://www.ftpp.net/V6Main.htm

and thinking of going with ceramic coated steel pace setter headers 3.8 L. Part number PSE-1209C
. With everything there showing there is that all I need? Thanks for any info guys.

Nevermind I am going against the headers since it seems there more trouble then there worth. Anyways it won't do much more performance wise and I don't race my bird. Prolly just going to go with a new converter and I'll be set. I got my flowmaster catback on and it looks and sounds good, the only problem I notice is the passenger tailpipe is hitting something(think its the tirewell). Has anyone else had this problem?

yup a lot of people have that problem. i just took a small sledge hammer and pounded it in some. doesnt need nuch. there is a flat skinney crease where the metals were cleamped together and thats where its hitting the most. flattten out and it should be good to go. if not pound it in a little more. cant hurt anything its just the spare-tirewell.

plus since you have a car newer than 2000 you have tubular manifolds which are about as good as aftermarket headers. Dont bother.

Thanks for the info 99camaro - 3.8 I will try it and see what happens. Yea they don't give much room between the tirewell and the metals.

Also thanks T-Punk for the info.

          Peace,
