I e-mailed them and didn't get any response. About installing Pacesetter headers. Will my car still be legal and pass emission?

The problem is that the pacesetters don't have the EGR output thingie (yes that is a technical term). If you have the time and money to do the switch you might as well, everytime I have had either my cars smogged, my ole 92 3.1 or my current 99 3.8, the guy doing the test either is too dumb to notice obvious flaws, or doesnt care.
A moddified airbox can fail you in Ca, and mine has the whole front cut off and raised. In my 92 I didn't even have an airbox, just an exposed filter. I should have failed.
My EGR was scewed up and I still passed, and my guess is, even if my car didn't have it hooked up, he propably wouldn't notice.
I say chance it, you will still pass the sniffer and electronic test, as long as you delete the EGR correctly without codes, all you really have to worry about is the visual inspection.Comment
