  • Problem with a vacuum hose

i install a ebay intake with a k&n filter on my 3.4 1995 camaro the install was pretty easy but originaly i have some kind a vaccum hose on my intake but the new intake doesn`t have any connection for it.

i contact the seller and he says that a few 3,4 have thise hose ans prepose me putting a breather filter on the hose...and i`am kind of sceptic...i`am 2step away of reselling this and buy me a real intake.did you have an idea to help me with this!

sell it/get rid of it and buy a real intake.

It's only the intake for your AIR pump, so the air is going right into the exhaust. My hose has been disconnected for a year and a half with no ill effects. I just zip-tied it to the ABS controller to keep it out of the way.

I'm not sure that even aftermarket intake kits like K&N and SLP have the hookup for the AIR.
