How long does it take to install pacesetter headers?
I'm gonna have like hour in my next autotech class to do it. We have lifts and every tool you could think of. How much time do you guys think it would take me to install it?

Holy ****, why would it take that long? Isnt it just lift the car up, take off the old manifold with a torch, put the new one in and weld?

I dunno, I was thinking it would take like 3 hours at the most but maybe its going to take more than that. hmm.. Thats like 5 days without driving my car. Maybe I will just cut up everything at school and install it at home.

I installed my headers, it took about 11 hours with hand tools (ratcheting box wrenches would've cut the time down to 8 hours). All I can say is it's a difficult job with hand tools and the car on jack stands, however an assortement of air tools with all kinds of extensions and such it could probably be done in 6 hours or so.

Getting the old ones out will take longer than you think. The heat shields are a pain to remove.

You'll need to swap the o2 sensors over to the headers.

It will be easy to put the plug wires back on. If you have to take the plugs out while your old manifolds are still on, that will be a pain too...
