I just put in my new SLP cold air induction system today in my '96 RS. I did however run into a few problems. Number 1, how do I remove that piece of plastic from the stock air box that is behind the headlight? Also I was wondering if it is right that the filters seem to touch eachother when put on? (It would make sense to me that they should not but what do I know)If anyone out there can help with these questions and/or have run into the same thing, please let me know, Thanks!

I just yanked away at all the pieces in that area.
As for the air filters touching, if I am correct they have an angle to them, 15 degree's?
Angle each one so that they point away from each otherRace car - gone but not forgotten - 1997 firebird V6
