just do it yourself with the instructions above. It is free and easy to do. Don't get sucked into the ebay scams that people have out there.

For our V6's, it will only work with the 3.4l. The TB on the 3.8l doesn't have exterior coolant lines going into it.
It keeps the TB cooler by not leeting hot coolant bypass through it... which in turn makes the incoming air/fuel mixture cooler as it's passing through the TB... making a slight more dense mix in the combustion chamber. (if that makes any sense)
It MAY add a minor increase on the V8's, but I don't think it will do anything impressive for the V6's.

To bypass the coolant line to our TB for the 3.8's, follow the link above. ;)

FWIW, even doing it like posted above is pretty much pointless. The TB will be the same temperature, whether or not the coolant cavity is filled in. The TB will just get heated by the intake manifold. With a spacer there could be a benefit from it, but without a spacer I wouldn't waste my time.

yea, i put that guide up mainly to save people money. some places charge $25 for a little rubber plug (that is not for our RWD fbody v6 anyway) that does the same thing as filling the cavity with a glob of silicone.

That cavity is very small as it is. it by no means runs the lentgh of the TB or anything. just about .5" deep x 1" wide.

If you want to try it then the 'glob of goo' method is very affordable and easy and can be undone.

A true throttle body spacer would actually insulate the TB from the manifold, though.
