How long is the wait??

I ordered Pacesetter Headers a last week. Summit told me when I order then that I'd get them around 10/20, I've check my order status a couple of times on their web site and they keep pushing it back now they say I'll get them on 11/1. Will it really take Summit another month (unless they push it back again) to send me my headers, or should I ignore it and pray they show up someday when I'm at school??? I would like to get them put on before I freeze my *** off doing it.

You're not waiting on Summit to ship them, you're waiting on Pacesetter to give some to Summit so they can sell them. Summit has none in stock, and they're waiting on Pacesetter to make more. There's no telling how long it'll take Pacesetter to catch up with all the orders.

Yes, they come with the Y-Pipe.

It took pacesetter a good 2 months to fill my order and I ordered through AMM so I can vouch for the fact Summit isn't giving you the run around, pacesetter is just really slow in turnaround time. Something I definately will remember in the future. But due to the lack of quality headers (i.e. headers that don't need the flanges fixed out of the box) at a reasonable price (CIA = big$$$$) most people around here have all of one place to turn.

Clear Image Automotive (CIA) has lowered the prices on their headers. The ones with their ceramic coating are only $455. RK Sport headers are $495 at thunder racing. I am unsure of the price of the Pacesetters.

I think I am going to try the CIA ones when I get headers.

But does that include the cost of the Y-Pipe?

The pacesetters are like $200 for the painted and I think $250 for the ceramic coated, and yes they came with absolutely everything needed to install them included the y-pipe.
