    looking for a good cat-back and i really liek this one but i have the y87 package and the borla cat-back that rk sport has for sell says that i will not work wiht teh y87 package can some one tell me why and if its a big problem

      The only reason I could see being the problem is the suspension system that is implemented into the Y87 cars. Some components may get in the way of the design of the Borla exhaust. Does that make sense?

        yeah it does is there anyway i could get around it do you think

          not without destroying the exhaust setup (ie-cutting it apart and rewelding). You could also just email RK Sports and ask them why

            There is no difference in the suspension components between a stock V6 and a Y87!

              RKSport needs to explain that one. There is NOTHING on any V6 model that is different. It either fits all or none. And there is NOTHING on the Borla site.

                    Borla cat-back works fine on my y87.

                      btw great choice on the Borla i wish i had the money for one.....best sounding v6 u will ever hear

                        My Borla worked fine when i used to have it on my y87.

                          the one on borla.com looks kinda differetn then the one on rk sport how many do you think that matters w/e im getting that one if it doesnt fix i sell it i guess thanx for the help

                            I got a borla on my Y87. The exhaust shop installed it for $80. So, I dont think there was any problem installing it.

                              maybe....maybe...rksport got their codes confused and they mean it will not fit on the factory option rear ground effects.

                              center port exhaust systems need a special rear ground effect....other than that....it looks like (according to theposts in this thread) than it should be fine.
