CATCO catalytic converters are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship. This catalytic converter has been designed and manufactured, and is warranted to meet federal EPA emission requirements for 25,000 miles. The stainless steel body and nipples alone are warranted for 5 years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first. At the conclusion of the 5 year/50,000 mile or 25,000 mile period, whichever is applicable, all liability under this limited warranty shall terminate.

...in case someone else was wondering.

Check your stock Y pipe Ross. Stock Y pipe has inner and outer wall, they are susceptible to loosen over time. I thought it was my cat was rattling at first on mine too but later on I found out it was my Y pipe.

Take a look at your catco. The heat sheild is tack welded on pretty crappy. Catco's are known to do this, the ypipe could be the problem but I think most likely it's the catco. Because it is really cheaply made. People even have problems about the honey comb breaking and getting stuck in their exhaust a few months after the install. Which is one of the reasons I hate catco. I had one and it's like tissue paper. Everyone continues to recommend the catco's to everyone on this board and everyone swares by them because they bought one and they want to stick by their purchase. You can buy a carsound cat for the same price, it flows 100cfm more and is made more durable so if you happen to accidently run over a small rock on the road it won't completely crush the catco. I don't know when everyone will figure this out though. The LT1 and LS1 guys have though. Slowly but shortly everyone's starting to realize though that the catco's suck.

I am at a loss for words. Maybe i should get rid of my catco now before it starts to fall apart and clog up my exhaust system.

 Wait the fastest V6 on the board is running a catco and has not had one lick of troble.

i think im just gonna swap in an LS1 instead of dealing with the cat and its warranty. sounds like it is coing from in the cat... it scrapped the other day going over a speed bump so that might hagve loosened something inside. oh well...
