i just got a new exhaust and i wanna install it myself, is it easy to take out the stock muffler or is it better to just take it to the shop and let them do it?

It won't cost you much to take it to a good shop and have them do it. I personally don't like working with exhaust systems, it can be a real PITA without a lift.2002 5-spd NBM Camaro

I agree. Especially if the muffler has a bigger inlet then your stock piping (which happened to me.) Just bring it to the shop and let them do it.
