Hey, on a website that's selling pacesetter headers for the 3.4 liter camaro

    Cermic coated are $331
    Black regular are $159

I am just curious, I've seen some black, some coated, so I dunno what to think. I know it helps keep engine bay temps down, but other than that, do you notice any kinds of different gains? I was told to get different gaskets and head bolts, so this could either be a $200 mod (which would rock) or a $400 (which would stink a little bit). Please let me know

i would go with ceramic, but it sounds like your mind is made up. ceramic keeps engine temps, WAY down, and if you got the money... why not?

BTW, you won't need new HEAD bolts...you will need new HEADER bolts. The ones from teh stock 3.4L manifold will not work with the headers.

You might want to ask 12secV6 about the time his car caught on fire from putting header wrap on his (uncoated) headers. For awhile his handle was "Crispybird".
I'd spend the extra bucks for the coated. Well, actually, I already DID spend the extra bucks for coated (RKSport). Extra heat under the hood is never a good thing.
