I've searched around for this, and haven't found much of an answer. What skills and tools would be required to install an edelbrock catback system?

a jack, wheel chocks, hack saw (for cutting the stock 'over the axle' pipe) a few metric sockets. you might need some standard sockets for the u bult clamps that come with the edelbrock kit.
very easy. the edelbrock kit is supposed to sound real good.

I just took mine to a shop because I wanted a full 3" I-pipe. Cost me $100 for the install including the I-pipe change.\'99 SSM Camaro V6 M5
(mod list on cardomain site; too long to list here)
http://www.cardomain.com/id/v6cam99

Never mind, the picture shows it is a smaller pipe after the cat then it necks up to e 3" before the muffler. However, the hanger on the over the axle pipe looks different that my 99, it's got a flat one instead of the hook type. On a 98 and newer car, what Edelbrock exhaust do you use?1999 Y87 Camaro
Whisper Lid, SLP SS Takeoff Exhaust

either way...don't let hangers stop you. easy to have your stock hangers weledd on to the new system or easy to use a couple of universal hangers.
