Today was the first day that I actually stood behind my car while the engine was running. It made a real nice throaty sound except for one thing. I noticed a "bzzzzzzz" sound. It's not too loud, and you can only hear it when close up to the car. Is this normal with the Flowmaster 80 series mufflers? Has anyone else had this problem?

Electric fuel pumps make a sort of high pitched buzzing noise when they are on. You should be able to hear the exhaust over the fuel pump unles it is going bad.2004 Dodge Dakota 3.7 litres of raw power!!<br />Nothing but a 6!<br />Do you know for sure? John 3:18Comment

Oh I can definitely hear the exhaust over the buzzing sound. It's not really that loud at all until I get up close to the car. So it's my fuel pump then? Is there anyway to make the sound go away? If not, I guess I could just live with it.
