right now all i have on my car is a flowmaster 80 series muffler,i just had new tailpipes and tips installed so i really dont want to get rid of this setup, but im not sure if i should ditch this for a brand new catback system,or can i get a catback pipe and a hiflow cat instead?? my exhaust guy quoted me almost 400 for the pipe and cat, thats abit high if you ask me,what should i do,money and performance wise

well I had a thread about a catback
      http://www.camarov6.com/ubb/ultimate...;f=25;t=006921
read that and see if it's up your alley, alot of good advice in there
I spent like 330 on the 3 inch catback exhaust, u pipe, and a hi flow cat. Now I just have to get it installed.

just get the high-flow cat. you will still get some hp gains and a deeper sound. $400 for the install sounds high. I did mine myself, but my mechanic said he would charge 1 -2 hours labor. The price of the cat depends on what you get. I went with the catco.
