Borla makes a 98+ catback setup?
thought they only made the rear section setup.....
i know that the 93-97 z-28 system will work on your car, but the hangers wont line up.
I have the rear section on my 96......sounds damn good. No high rpm rasp.

I don't want to spend money on just a rear section, i want a full cat-back, but Borla themselves said 98+ wouldn't fit 96???

quote:
Ive heard a lot of people say going with a 3" intermediate pipe with not much work done to your car will reduce the backpressure too much, resulting in torque loss.

This isn't really true, its a common misconception that a 3" will result in loss of torque. The decrease in backpressure, and increase in exhaust flow makes the engine run a little different, it almost feels more open, hard to explain. This is not a loss of torque, just an increase in efficiency.1997 Camaro RS - Polo Green
Y87 Performance Package
80 Series Flowmaster
Homemade CAI
B&M Transpak Stage II
