You need to tell us what year your car is, if it's a manual or automatic, what size engine

not really.. we don't need to know transmission type

for a 3.8L, ur collector is 3" big, and stock exhaust is 2.25", so u need a 3" in, 2.25" out cat, a carsound or catco would suffice...

if u cant get those exact specifications, u can always buy an adaptor, to make a 2.5" outlet go into 2.25"

muffler? no, what u need to know is the diameter of the intermediate pipe (the 'S' part), if its stock, its 2.25", if its a z28 take off, its 2.5" i think... SS and WS6 have 2.75"

buy a universal, 3" in, 2.25" out cat, THATS ALL U NEED TO KNOW IF U HAVE A STOCK 3.8L EXHAUST MANIFOLD AND I-PIPE!!!!

the 's-pipe' is part of the i-pipe.... just terminology

dude, i'm seriously spoon feeding you...

look on ebay, search for carsound cat...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33629
(buy the 3")
get that, then go to ur local muffler shop, get them to put it in, with a 3" to 2.25" adaptor
