  • air silencer removal 98

i just removed my air silencer, and hooked 4" dryer vent up to the stock(shaved) airlid, straight to the tb.
i also have the home made ram air, ne ways...

does anyone know where i can get 4" duct similar to this i bought the 3", but it was too small... it also seemed to be pretty sturdy...
i also noticed a lot better exhaust tone, and i have a stock exhaust...
so this is definately worth it... and is doable on a 98...

i will post pics of it tomorrow

Here is a place to get flex hose. It's designed for superchargers, so it would be good for your application. It's about $18 a foot. THey take phone orders.

As far as a duct, I really don't know. The flex tubing might work.
You might find some of this useful too as far as parts and stuff. Maybe some of it relates.
