  • Is this price ok?

I have been pricing around to see which local shop will give me the best price to install my exhaust. I have a 3.4L engine and just want nicer looking exhaust then the current single tailpipe and i want it to be louder.

I was told to go with the Flowmaster 80 series muffler with dual outlets. I went to a couple of places and one guy said he'd put the muffler on with polished steal tailpipes coming out 2.5" ones for 150$ I would have to buy the muffler though which I am assuming is about 80$? So we're looking at 230$ alltogether. SHould I keep pricing around or is that a good deal?

PS. Some people said it should cost under 200$.. Just wondering, thanks.

If thats the pricing for a catback then it sounds about right, if its just for the muffler and tips, hes ripping your a$$ of, for muffler and tips it should be around $50

try a muffler shop like meineke or something more brand name, local muffler shops may rip you of, i had my flowmaster and tail pipes put on for $50, it was at a local muffler shop but im friends with the guy so i knew he wouldn't try to rip me of
