I'm looking to get a direct-fit catalytic converter for my 2000 camaro. I've had two high-flow cats previously and both have gone bad on me. This latest one only took two weeks. Anyway I'm ready to go back to a stock cat. Anyone know where to find one wholesale or cheaper?

I mean it's rattling and it went bad. I don't want to go to a dealership because it will cost about $500.00 for a new one. I was told by someone who works at Catco that the converter can go bad if it's not installed the proper distance from the rear O2 sensor that sits behind the cat. For example: it could make the car's air/fuel ratio run rich in which case you would have excess fuel coming out the Y-pipe and into the cat. converter which will damage it. In any case I'm sure the shop that installed my two converters didn't know everything they should about doing it, so I want to have the dealership install a new direct-fit replacement.SLP C.A.I./Whisper Lid
K&N Filter
Flowmaster 50 series Exhaust
Catco 3\" high-flow cat w/
2.5\" I-pipe
Hurst Billet Shifter w/
Lou\'s short stick
