I actually run the same setup minus the headers and I bought the 02 sim and it didn't work for me. It ran without the light for like a day then it came back on.

I am plagued with the same problem however i have only replaced the cat w/ catco highflow and redone the rest of the exhaust back. It really comes down to, if you mess with the cat your going to get SES light on the 00+ year models, atleast 85% of them anyway. The sim worked on my car for about 2000 miles and has thrown consistant codes since. Even after i reset the pcm, the codes will come back in about a week.
What O2 Simm is everyone using right now? I got my from ZZPerformance.com, it doesnt look like the casper electronics one its MUCH smaller. Maybe this is the reason for me?

I'd love to look at the pcm code on the post-cat O2 sensor. Something tells me there's a change that means that O2 sims aren't being smart enough (sending constant signal when the PCM knows it should be changing). If I knew what it was looking for, it would be easy to rig up a "true" sim that maybe took in the rpm and throttle position and adapted its output to suit. Or maybe read the output of the pre-cat sensors and output based on that.

I'm getting the SES from my O2 sim also. I have a casper sim. Several months ago, someone on the board contacted casper and was able to have casper send them another O2 sim that will work with the 2000+ cars. I've been meaning to do so, but I've been a little busy working 7 days a week for the past month or so. :( I need to do that Monday.
Just call casper and tell them your problem, and they should be able to help yeah out. I bought my sim from Summit Racing and it's listed under the Grand Prix, that'z the reason why it throws the code, I'm guess on the Grand Prix it sends a different voltage signal than the Camaro/Firebirds. Hope this helps. ;)

Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
