I think i have deicided on putting a bullet muffler in place of my cat. The question i have will i have to get an 02 sim or will it be ok. it 94 3.4 w/flowmaster catback

I am pretty sure that thunder racing sells them..
but you can get them anywhere.. jegs, summit.. ect ect.. they are all pretty much the same.. it will cost you areound 60-70 bucks.. and you only need one! dont buy two..

I thought you only need an O2 sim. if you have a 3.8 that has an oxygen sensor after the cat. The 3.4 only has 2 sensors. One in each exhaust manifold before the cat. I have a high flow cat on my 3.4 an have no problems with "the light".
However, if you have a sensor behind the cat and it reads levels leaving the cat you have to have simulators...right?

I just got mine from jegs for 44.99 yesterday. ZZ performance has them on sale for $37 right now.
Also, you only need to change the one behind the cat becuase thats the one that throws the light for emissions reasons. The other 3 control the air/fuel ratio.

Go ahead and disregard anything the 3.8 guys are saying about sensors around the catalytic converter. Dr. Todd is right when he says 3.4's don't have any down there. Ours are in the Y-pipe just below the exhaust manifolds. Our sensors take their readings way before the cat. Therefore, you won't need any sims. dam.. you may not need one w/ a 95.. it depends if its obdii-2 or not.. i am not 100% sure about the 95's
