Did you need to reprogram the PCM do work with the new manifolds, or will the 99 programming learn them?
Also, is there anything other than the air conditioning refrigerant lines from the back of the compressor that would prevent the 2000+ manifolds from going in, i.e., is the compressor mounted farther back on the 99s, etc.?
I've the got the manifolds, I've got the y-pipe, all I'd need (that I know of) would be to change the AC lines, and I could install them. I'd like to do the swap, but if it's going to require reprogramming, etc., I'm not going to do it.
Oh yeah, and did you notice any change in the performance of the car, more top end, etc.? I've heard yes and no. Thanks.
