Is it easy to install? I'm not good with electronics and wiring. I could get the RKsport fan switch, but someone said I could do it for 12 bucks. Which was is better, does it set off the SES light?

Check out the last page of my cardomain site (in sig), it's the $12 switch I did. I don't know a darn thing about wiring and I did it, so I know you can. And it thew an ses light once, but I turned the car off then back on and it went away, probably a fluke. Been on a month and hasn't thrown one since.97 White Pontiac Firebird 3.8 A4
Mods- 2.75\" exhaust, Dynomax muffler, magnaflow cat, SLP CAI, Hypertech 160* thermo, Fan switch
Suspension-Kumho Ecsta 712\'s, 32mm/19mm sway bars

Our Lady of Blessed Acceleration, don\'t fail us now.
-Elwood Blues

I installed mine for about 12 bucks following the instructions in whiteshark's page. It does throw an SES light after used for a while, but it goes away eventually and doesn't harm performance at all.- White \'99 V6 Camaro (M5, 3.23s)
- 3\" Borla Exaust, RK Sport Induction Lid, Fast Toys Ram Air, K&N Air Filter, !Silencer, !MAF Screen, B&M Short shifter, Manual Fan Switch, 160° Hypertech Powerstat, BMR Boxed LCAs(rubber/poly), BMR STB
*My Cardomain Website*

its easy, takes no time at all to do, but it will set the ses light if you use the fans when the computer doesn't think they should be on, if you turn the fans off, the ses light will go away,

18 gauge seems like it would be too small. Is that what the other wires in the car are, or at least what i have to tap?2003 Nissan 350Z Touring Coupe, Daytona Blue, Frost leather interior, navigation, 18 inch wheels, M6, fully loaded, intake, crank pulley.

Previous cars:
1991 Mustang (347)
2002 RS Camaro
1985 IROC-Z (305)
1994 Camaro convertible V6

I don't know much about wires and gauges but to me it didn't look like the ones you're tapping into are any bigger than 18, maybe even smaller.97 White Pontiac Firebird 3.8 A4
Mods- 2.75\" exhaust, Dynomax muffler, magnaflow cat, SLP CAI, Hypertech 160* thermo, Fan switch
Suspension-Kumho Ecsta 712\'s, 32mm/19mm sway bars

Our Lady of Blessed Acceleration, don\'t fail us now.
-Elwood Blues

You'll be tapping into the fan relays so 18 gauge will be fine. ;)
