I am trying to put together a small puzzle here. Cardinal, when you were at the dyno and you took out the MAF screen, did you reset the computer? I am thinking that is the secret (not ressetting), because I took the screen out and my car ran great, then I reset the PCM and it idles weird. So I am thinking of putting it in, resetting, and taking it out again and not resetting. Anyone agree/disagree? TIA!

Decide one way or the other, and drive at different speeds. Drive in traffic, drive on the highway at moderate speeds, etc. Car always runs wacky after PCM is reset for at least a cycle of the computer, at least 75 miles. My car does that high idle thing also, when it's cold. Your car's alright. Oh yeah, leave that IAT thingy off until your car is back running correctly. Don't reset your computer anymore unless you do something significant to your exhaust/intake. Hell, your computer would eventually learn the correct curves if you don't reset it.

Well, i never reset it after i did the exhaust, so I guess it wasn't totally useless. Thanks for the advice man, I was worried. So for now, I put the MAF Screen back in and the IAT mod out, and reset it. I will drive 75 miles and check back later this week! I'll keep you posted!

Oh yeah, I forgot, how long does the PCM fuse have to be out to reset the PCM fully? ALso, My AC decided not to blow cold today, just when the problems started.. I used it 2 days ago and it was fine! Coincidence?

AC not blowing cold is the result of the IAT mod. As far as resetting the PCM: depends on how you reset it. If you unplug the battery cable (unnecessary)15 minutes. Here is a link to the correct way to reset the PCM/ECM:
          http://ls1.com/index_ls1_mods.html
Info is under resetting the ECM.
