From what everyone has said, that I've read, they say B&B is quiet. I haven't heard the GMMG exhaust but that or the adjustable Borla might be the loudest. I didn't like my flowmaster either, it just sounded loud and not mean, it was annoying really.1 of a kind<p>Red 97 Camaro<p>Modifications: <br />SLP CAI, RK Sport Headers, Car Sound High Flow Cat, 3\" piping<br />3\" Steel driveshaft, SFC\'s, Panhard Rod, MAC Torque Arm<br />Manual Fan Switch<p>Best E/T:<p>60\' 2.152<br />330 6.271<br />1/8th 9.704<br />MPH 71.93

I had glass packs on my chevelle.
Loud as a mo fo!!!
I would most definately think glass packs on a v6 would absolutely sound like crap!!
High flow cat & headers make an exhaust sound deeper and rumblierRace car - gone but not forgotten - 1997 firebird V6

glasspacks make a load poping sound,i;m sure they would sound like an angry ricer on a v6

They made almost no change to the sound on my car. Headers are a waste of money in terms of an exhaust tone modification (on our cars anyway). A Catco high flow cat from SummitRacing.com is cheap enough that I'd say that's not a bad mod if you feel like doing it.-James<br /><br />\'96 3.8L A4 Camaro (SOLD)

I say get a cutout. $50 (part + installation) and you're set! Sounds great IMHO, and it's really loud and mean. Then you got plenty of extra $$ for other stuff!Kyle M<br />--------------<br /><a href=\"http://grdws6.netfirms.com\" target=\"_blank\">2002 Trans Am WS6</a> (silver, A4) - lid, cutout, stage 3 shift kit, 12 bolt, vig 3200, tranny cooler, bmr sfc/stb, torq thrust ii. <b>12.688 @ 106.47mph -=- 1.756 60\'</b>

Dynomax! You won't regret it. Heard nice things about Edelbrock also. Isn't Edelbrock a turbo-style muffler also? I think that's the key..turbo-style.
Oh, need to go ahead and get a bigger I-pipe too if you don't have one. High flo cat also if you have enough miles on your car. I'm tellin ya, you won't regret it. And with the A/C on? Sounds like a 70's muscle car. Might not go real fast, but sounds good. :D
Oh, almost forgot. Whisper lid, filter, basically better air induction if you don't have it. Like 12sec says, all of that stuff helps. I might get headers one day, if they're not too loud.

The B&B triflow is an excellent exhuast system. I ran it on my camaro. It's not as loud as flowmaster or borla, but louder than eddlebrock, about loud as a dynomax, & definitely louder/deeper than stock. I think LMperformance was offering a GP on them not too long ago might want to check em out.<a href=\"http://groups.msn.com/WhoisNightRider/bluethunder.msnw\" target=\"_blank\">2002 Electron Blue Corvette Coupe</a><br /><i>13.083@108.23</i><br /><br /><a href=\"http://groups.msn.com/WhoisNightRider/redfire.msnw\" target=\"_blank\">2002 Metallic Red Grandprix GTP</a> <b>SOLD</b><br /><i>14.49@94.42 (Bone stock)</i><br /><br />2002 Black Convertible Camaro Z28<br /><i>times comming real soon!</i>

Borla sounds awesome even with the plate fully closed. Has a really nice rumble to it with no cat.
