I had a wacky idea the other day and I thought I'd spell it out here to see if some people had some input.
We put on a CAI in order to force more (and colder air) into the engine, right? So then, could an alternative to ram air or blowing be using a dual CAI system? The hardest part about setting this up would be getting the rear air intake duct turned from a 90 degree elbow into a sort of Y-shaped tube, with an end going to the passenger side of the engine bay as well as the end which currently goes to the driver's side. Assuming that you could fabricate such a piece, and then buy another FIPK/SLP/whatever you use and run it to the passenger's side of the engine bay, you could set up such a system.
Of course, the big question is whether it would be worth it. That's the part that I have no idea about. ;)
Comments, suggestions, ideas?
