Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone has these on their 3.8's? If so, how much does it cost? Is it even worth the few HP gains? How's the installing? One magazine said 15 more HP to the rear wheels, but that was on an LS1. Thanks!

same here, that is what i got and it cost me like 200 or so i think......its sounds cool yea, but im not real sure of the hp gains, so i cant say if it was worth it or not, i really didnt feel a diff, but my cat was also clogged when i got so that may have stopped imediate gains i woulda felt, ofcourse i dont ahve the col air induction either riggs, i thought u ewre posed to get one or the other, not both....what is the diff and should i think about getting the cold air induction to give me more gains?2000 v6 A4 Camaro Y87
Magnaflow HighFlow Cat., Flowmaster American Thunder Cat. well like i said, the filtercharger was my very first mod. i noticed IMMEDIATE power gains throughout the rpm band. it wasnt until about 2 months laster that i decided to add the SLP cold air induction. if you are familiar with the design of the filtercharger (go to www.kandn.com - then search your car), youll see the huge shape of the intake (ends up) sitting right over your heat shield. by putting in the SLP CAI, i was force feeding air directly into the filtercharger (which sits right above the opening from the CAI). i noticed furhter gains in power and felt it was worth putting on. some people say not to cut into the heat shield to avoid temp-related problems, but since doing it 3 months ago, i have no issues with the set up whatsoever, it has worked well.2001 Pewter Camaro A4/Y87
--------------------
K&N Aircharger, SLP Cold Air Induction, Hypertech Programmer III, 160* thermostat, manual fan switch & just ordered 3\" SLP loudmouth system LIVE THE MAYHEM - http://www.collegemayhem.com
