performance. if you just want performance? don't go with borla. its to expensive for the bang for the buck. you can get a loudmouth with is like 250$ and is 3"'s. or you can go with the 3" american thunder catback by flowmaster. thats like 300$ or so. the loudmouth won't sound good. the flowmaster will sound decent. i've heard it with headers and no cat and it was amazing. ear candy.\'96 Quasar Blue Firebird A4
jamiethekiller@comcast.net
my band: woodland

Borla is a very good exhaust with polished tips and is stainless steal with a life time warranty, but is really overpriced . I have borla on my 3.4L with headers and love it. There are other really good exhaust out there .If borla is what you want, I say great choice ! Borla as far as quality goes is the best exhaust, it last forever.

I like the loudmouth. I've heard a couple in person and it's bad *** . ok this is what ur looking at, u said u wanted borla with pacesetters? i think thats a pretty good combination. itll run u no less than 1000 dollars to buy and install tho. If u want the best sounding setup do this. get the RKsport headers a 2.5" pipe and a flowmaster muffler. I have the headers and an 80 series flowmaster system. damn thin sounds like a v8 under 2000 rpm. like i said before ur setup is gonna be pretty good. the only thing is that if u plan on getting a supercharger or turbocharger down the road, u should probably get the RKsport headers instead of the pacesetters, otherwise u should be moneySLP CAI, RK Sport headers, P&Ped heads and intake, GT2 cam, Upgraded valvetrain, Z28 rear axle with 4.10s Tx Spd tune, Z06 rims, 2.5\" exhaust to flowmaster, 160* thermo, B&M ripper, upgraded ignition, rockford fosgate 12\" with sony xplode amp and HU.

assuming u have an intake......the headers should probably net u between 3-6 hp, and the exhaust between 4-7 hp, and if u wanna take the cat off thats another 1-2 hp (illegal!!!!!!) its definitley something u need to get done.....ull fall in love with the sound. and for me, no the flowmaster doesnt get to ricey at all, u cant even notice it until ur at like 4000, but think about it, when are u ever going 4000? 90% of the time ur cruising under 2500, just when it sounds like ur V8!SLP CAI, RK Sport headers, P&Ped heads and intake, GT2 cam, Upgraded valvetrain, Z28 rear axle with 4.10s Tx Spd tune, Z06 rims, 2.5\" exhaust to flowmaster, 160* thermo, B&M ripper, upgraded ignition, rockford fosgate 12\" with sony xplode amp and HU.
