Working on a custom setup right now to replace the factory MAF-in-throttle body. I found that porting the factory throttle body around the post and behind it was just too problematic with tuning the MAF so I'm working on a completely custom setup utilizing a modified version of the factory throttle body and either an SLP 85mm Mass air meter or a Granatelli version. I'm looking around to buy a usable casting of a 95-97 throttle body w/o the sensors right now if anybody has one cheap. All that needs to be in the throttle body is the plate, shaft, and good seals on the shaft ends. I do not need the springs, cap, any bolts, or any of the sensors. This setup will work in conjunction with my custom cold air intake for one complete setup and will simple tuning of the PCM to adjust. Wish me luck!
