Confused about exhaust pipes

I have been reading this forum for sometime and have done a lot of searching the archives for help with picking what exhaust I want. However, I am still somewhat confused as to what parts actually come with most cat-back systems.

For example, I have pretty well decided on the Borla exhaust but I don't know which pipes come with it. If I buy it do I need any other pipes to install it? Or can I just buy an I-pipe and S-pipe later on? Although from an install standpoint it would probably make more sense to buy everything I am wanting to install and do it all at once.

So if I buy the Borla what extra pipes to I have to buy and/or what other pipes would people suggest I buy?

Cat back systems come with everything from the cat back. They come with and intermediate pipe, muffler and two tail pipes. Sometimes they come with tips, sometimes the tailpipes are supposed to be used w/o tips (ie. all american thunder)

I have the Borla, and it comes with the I pipe, over axel pipe, muffler, tips, and the pipe that comes off on the passenger side (the adjustable side). It does not come with the S pipe. This is for the Borla catback (which is what I assume you are talking about).
