SLP CAI install

I got my CAI yesterday and was looking over the installation instructions and noticed it doesnt say waht to do with the rubber seal? Anyone have any tips on the installation or know where the rubber seal goes?

i have a 97 so it wasnt the same but search i am sure its on here

It goes on the front of the airbox frame. If you look from the front of the car, you'll see a gap between the airbox assembly and the frame of the car. That's where it goes. It took me a while to figure that one out myself :D

OK, im in the process of installing it but cant see the fins of the condensor thing. Anyone have any tips?

WHEW! finally done, someone needs to write up a how-to guide on that. Wasnt too hard once i found the fins of the air thing. Glad to have that and the whisper lid checked off the list!!

Ya no problem, i will be glad to help! Just shoot me an email! By the way im pretty sure SLPOnline has a cheaper price on the CAI then LMPerformance. So check there first, but i ordered my whisper lid from them, its great!

thunderracing.com seems to be the cheapest. i got my whisper lid, k&n filter, and some free filter cleaning crap with the 150$ package.
and they have both ram air's.. slp 130, ftra 170...
shipping was like 8$ and took 3 days

Thunderracing doesn't seem to have a kit w/ a CAI.

LMPerformance has a package that costs 287.60 after shipping for an SLP CAI, Whisper Airlid, and Holley Powershot Filter. That's the absolute best deal I can find.

For an SLP CAI, texas-speed seems to have the best price.
