Some people have had their upper intakes modified (as in custom sheet metal modifications) in order to fit the LT1 throttle bodies. This is the only way that they will fit.- Josh
If you have any questions or need installation pics/help, e-mail me: Viper98885@aol.com
\'93 Camaro Hardtop
\'01 Lincoln LS8 Sport
\'00 Yamaha YZF-R6
Full Throttle Performance

ive also seen the Tiago custom modification
cut off the intake manifold plenum of the 3.4 and add the lt1 intake manifold entry point....i believe he used to seel those intake manifolds too if im not mistaken.
Check his website for more infoI will take on all comers...or come on all takers!!! Whichever you prefer.

That RSM is a stock replacement? I am doing the LT1 pretty soon myself. i am just going to take it to a welder, mechanic person. My car cant breathe at all with a 50mm throttle body. It will do better with 48x2 though. Then I am dynoing, and going to the track. ;)Jordan
15.09@90.7
1995 Camaro 3.4 M5

please do get dyno numbers before and after the install of the new TB
yes the RSM is a stock replacement, however the inlet of the plenum isnt 62mm so you would need to have it bored out to match the TB
note: no one used steel on their little box to mount the TB to the plenum... you cant weld steel to alumnium (the manifold is alumnium, you have to use alumnium sheet metal)-Aaron, AKA ATL2001
93 3.4L
www.ilfba.com

Flamespike is thinking right. you will need a lot more then just a bigger Tb to make more power.
The inlet is about the same size as the Tb.
You need some custom metal work to get a bigger TB on there and make use of it.
The 75mm TB is all most ready to weld so it will be done soon.\'85 Z28, T-tops new LG4 and TH700
\'85 3.4L 5-speed
mods: http://www.cardomain.com/id/oil_pan_4 the nitrous exhaust O2 safety, pg 3.
Areo space materal engineer wantabe

I had not thought about doing it to a 3.4 intake, but I think it could be done.\'85 Z28, T-tops new LG4 and TH700
\'85 3.4L 5-speed
mods: http://www.cardomain.com/id/oil_pan_4 the nitrous exhaust O2 safety, pg 3.
Areo space materal engineer wantabe
