I bought it and since I'm back in school now didn't have much chance to look under my car in detail, but i have a question. The dirver's side tip has the metal piece welded on to go to the hanger... but the passenger tip, nothing. I looked under my car quickly and couldn't see any sort of hanger or bracket or anything. If this supposed to be like this?? Am I supposed to just clamp it tight and hope? help appreciated

As long as your exhaust isn't moving I wouldn't worry about it. If it is moving around take it back to the place taht installed it for you.1999 Pontiac Trans Am M6 Far from stock.....

Well im pretty sure there is a hanger on at least the passenger side. I thought there is one on my drivers as well. Its been a while since ive messed with the exhaust. All you can do is put her on and if you need some put them on.1999 Pontiac Trans Am M6 Far from stock.....

you should be able to go to Advance and buy the stock LT1 hangers. There like $10 a piece for the driver and passenger side and bolt right in. I fabbed up a piece to hang my LT1 Magnaflow on the v6 , but went out and bought the LT1 hangers later due to rattles.\'01 Mineral Grey SVT Cobra
-former F-body owner

There isn't a hanger on the passenger-side tailpipe in stock dual-outlet configuration. There is a hanger right at the end of the intermediate pipe however which pretty much holds up that side. You just have to make sure your right tailpipe clamp is on tight.1994 Firebird 3.4
15.65 @ 86.8
funkz.net/firebird
Timeslips

Noob huh? Yeah............
I was pretty much asking a question hoping instead of smartass comments someone would back their mouths up and show me proof there is no loss of torque and actually a noticable gain with such a big pipe on a naturally aspirated V6 with minimal bolt-ons. So no, there is not a real advantage of 3" over 2.5" on a mostly stock car, but in the end the 3" will support more extensive mods as you add them.\'01 Mineral Grey SVT Cobra
-former F-body owner

See was it that hard to post that then what you guys did b4? Didn't think so.... Bob your as bad as the asshats on V6mustang.com. Yeah you feel a gain or do you? Maybe everyone feels gains because its louder and sounds nicer but nobody has SOLID proof right douchebag? I meant 3" being overkill for someone that has like an intake and a chip. Now when you start going with rockers, cams and other internal mods on an N/A V6 then 3" if fine but you can't sit there and tell me a big *** 3" pipe on an almost stock N/A V6 is gonna do you any good?2001 Black on gray Buick Regal GSX

You have something against me or my car because c'mon this was about a 3" exhaust and you turned it around at my car or me  We're not talking about me or my car we're talking about a 3" exhaust. I just got done saying 3" would be good if you had alot of mods didn't i? I didn't say 3" would not work on ANY setup so get ur head out of your a$$ and quite crying about it.
Oh and BTW my Buick is "mighty" against your car. 2001 Black on gray Buick Regal GSX

There are 2 on the drivers side tailpipes... and one on the passenger. A shop I went to bolted the little tab that comes off the I pipe (i think) and put a rubber hanger with a bolt to it through the hanger on the car. It helped hold it up. I have to replace it with a newer hanger cause its stretched out a little bit. It was holding up my stock exhaust so its been there a while.1998 Silver Firebird
Basic mods... nothing real special but it sure looks good!
maleetpobanz.com
