  • TFX Performance Kat-Back System

Has anyone heard this on a V6? Appearantly it's 14% increase in power, made by pacesetter.

    Any input?

judging by the leaking issues people have with the headers, I'd reccomend the TSP Rumbler. Better system and dyno proven 14 RWHP. I just put it on and it sounds and performs awesome.

    just my $0.02

Decent system, definitely not one of the best. It is priced well for someone on a tight budget though.

        14% increase? It's just exhaust.

yea I know! I really doubt I even got 14HP from headers, high flow cat and a cat back. let alone 14%

14% increase from just exhaust is hard to believe...that means that a stock 3.8 would go from being rated at 200hp 228hp. And since we lay down CLOSE to 170 that should shoot you up to 194, and that would be nice, but i don't think so. those are all peak numbers though, maybe it really helps you somewhere else in your rpm range.

when you get it it ends up being pacesetters pretty good deal i'm sure you prolly can bolt it up with little mod since it's meant for a 3.4

Alright, so besides the advertised gain, anyone know ANYTHING about this exhaust?

                Sounds? (real) Gains? Anything?

                It's a good price.

especially if it's called a "Kat-back" system... that smacks of poor quality

I think that's the Dynomax system.

That 14% was not necessarily a V6 gain...

This thread is worthless without sound clips

what do sound clips have to do with hp gain?

the one from jcwhitney is pacesetters i got it awhile ago came in a pacesetters box. It's pretty nice. really good for the money. Also it's 3in which is a plus. I have a sound clip but it's hard to hear it. I'll post it later
