im rebuilding my engien and i was just wondering do you have to have them my manifolds look alout better with out them becuase i sprayed them with some high temp paint and would really just like to put them on with out the heat shield

If there are any wires that are semi-close to the bare manifolds, they will be melted away. Better off to re-install them.sigpic -

lol yeah i wish first i need to pay off the machine shop i would love headers but damn 500$ for rk if pace setters gets there prob fixed maybe i can afford them i dont know. I really should just save up for a trans am. only heat shield you really need is the starter one. least thats the only one i have left after my rebiuld, i dont have any motor lifts too lolwww.turbov6camaro.com
