      ok flame spike this is how it works, it connects the exhaust inlet pipe to the muffler to one of the exhaust outlet pipes allowing some of the exhaust to bypass the muffler. its like a small cutout routed to one of the exhaust tips.

        wil one of those coily dryer vent things work? i have a bunch of that

          I'd just use the Whisper lid if I were you... it comes with the dryer hose and a hole in the lid fot the air sensor. It comes with a new rubber bung for it as well. I noticed a LOT of low end gain with the whisper lid. well worth the $100... IMHO... Works ficne with a 98 angled TB.

              the CAI's for 95-97 could probably be made to fit pretty easy i would think. You can find cheap ones of those on ebay. Only problem is you would still have the airbox lid just sitting there unless you get a pre 98 radiator holder.
