    Flowmaster is on with sound clip!!

    Had it installed today. Also had the 3inch catco cat installed alone with the 3inch pie all the way back to it. Sound: A noticeable improvement, more throty thoughout the rpm range. It is loud but not over baring like the cutout was. It does get a tad bit raspy up top but i did not give it time to burn in yet. Overall i am satisfied with the sound. Best way to discribe it is it sounds like my cutout but tamer and has a tone to it. [img]graemlins/thumbsup.gif[/img] Performance: Not bad, i do feel a slight improvement in the top end and my bootom end did not suffer, infact i think i felt a slight increase in the bottom end. Fpr a sound clip click here then click on flowmaster1 to hear my car. Keep in mind my muffler has not burned in yet. ;)

    congrats....when I swapped from Dynomax to Flowmaster I found better low end as well. I wasn't expecting anything really but I did notice a difference which surprised me. Enjoy. It will get a TAD quieter and more mellow as it breaks in (e.g. I mean more mellow on the raspy topend). It'll still be wicked loud (for a V6)

      How many of you guys that have SLP like it and can anyone post some sound clips of a SLP 3" system, I really want to hear it...and is this the american thunder catback or just a flowmaster?.

        12secV6 has the SLP on his ride. As far as the flowmaster, you can get the muffler by itself or the full american thunder catback. You get more sound and performance from the catback.

          I have had my flowmaster on since Aug and I have loved them ever since.
          -FLOWMASTER 80 series exhaust dual out,K&N air filter.<br />-Bright Rally Red, 1993 Camaro V6 automatic. No BIG mods yet! But who needs alot of mods when you have 160 hp?             The one that i have and the one you hear on the clip is the American Thunder 17133 for Z28s.
