I bought mine in the GP this past spring. I think I paid $250 shipped for a Coated set with Y-Pipe. Aside from the fitment problems I had, I was very happy with them.
I'd say they were in the 5-7 range for how they were to install. (Mostly because they didn't fit to start, long story)
I'd say the coated were worth the money. Lower unhood temps, looks better, lasts longer, ect.1997 Cayenne Red Metallic Camaro
3.8 V6 M5
SLP Cold Air Intake
Ceramic Coated Pacesetter Headers
Flowmaster American Thunder Catback
Full 3.42 & Disc Break Rear End Swap

you might want headers and you probably will get them cause you dont want to go through the steps to make the worth while, but it will be a waste of money and time to get headers if it still flows the same as stock due to the exhaust after the headers. just my opinion. cat back then headersMods List:FREE ram air mod,FREE air lid smoothing mod,Air silencer removal,K&N Filter,Magna Flow Exhaust. cat delete, 3.42 + lsd.2600 stall tc,alto red eagle complete tranny rebuild.

well someone gave me a link last night on another fbody forum to points to JC Whitney, the description says they are the Armor*Coat headers and the price is only $220 or so, so I guess I will call them today and make sure cause the cheapest I have seen so far was $320 and those were on thunderracing i believe...the price on JC Whitney seems like the price of the painted headers

here is the URL that i was given...
http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/P...X/appId-389241
after looking at it, i see the following under the item name
(A) (D) (E)
and this is what it means
(A) Flanged collector.
(D) Without smog or engine-management hookups.
(E) Includes collector reducer—fabrication required to hook up to exhaust system.
Does this mean it has the Y-pipe? And what does it mean without smog or engine-management hookups?

Hrm... Does that mean it doesn't have bungs for 02 sensors? Strange... I'd call and see before you order.1997 Cayenne Red Metallic Camaro
3.8 V6 M5
SLP Cold Air Intake
Ceramic Coated Pacesetter Headers
Flowmaster American Thunder Catback
Full 3.42 & Disc Break Rear End Swap
