• should i get a cutout?

i'll be getting new exhaust in a week or so and i'd like to add a cutout. it's cheap and might be fun, but would it be any good on a 3.4? i'd only have it open for the track or dyno. thanks!

yes especially if you are only going to open it at the track. i gained 2 mph with mine. but what ever you do, dont fool yourself that it sounds cool and that you should drive all day with it open.
6s.......under the hood or under the belt, they just dont cut it.

Would the borla cat back exahust work like a cutout? I mean, they give you plates with it, and i can put the sold one in, so that none of it goes through the muffler, so its straight from the cat out of the car...isnt this exactly what the cut off does? or is the cutoff before the cat?
