I went to two different places and quoted installation prices. One said $20 (assuming it just fits right in...e.g. no reducers or adding/deletion of piping) and the other place quoted me $40. Sound reasonable?
That's a different part # than the usual (cto-6007), but that'll work also. Since that cat is a bit smaller than your factory cat, the muffler shop might need extension pipe or reducer to connect to your pipe. 40 bucks isn't too bad if they have to do some extra work.

You're fine man. The one you ordered is a little cheaper than part# CTO-6007, but yours don't have the airtube which you don't need anyways.

The air tube is for old car in the 80s that used air pumps to pump air in the cat to help in reduction on emmsions, it is mostly for old carberated cars. The part # i gave you is the one i have on my car and it works like a champ. Also there is no SES light, yet(crossing fingers).
2004 Dodge Dakota 3.7 litres of raw power!!
Nothing but a 6!
Do you know for sure? John 3:18
