hey guys i'm new to this board, i've been reading on it for a while but this is my first big question....at least to me that i would like answered....this summer i want to put an ultra z hood on my car, question is, would it be possible to have that plus the FTRA installed at the same time, essentially forcing more air into the airbox? or would it build up enough pressure for some of the air to escape? i have a 99 camaro, with whisper lid and k&n, and i'm getting new intake tubing to smooth it out...none or that rigid s*** to mess up the air flow

With two inlets to the airbox, you'll get the lesser of the two. If one inlet is higher pressure than the other, you'll just set up a cicuit for air to go in the higher pressure end and out the lower pressure end. Leaving you with about the same pressure as the lower pressure end.
Which is why you need to block off the front inlet slot with a FTRA system..
